The Innocenti Museum is one of the “newer” museums in Florence. Although the museum is only three years old, the history and legacy of the Ospedale degl’Innocenti goes back to the 15th century as the first institution in the world devoted exclusively to child care and welcoming abandoned children.
I LOVE museums and Florence is a treasure trove of spectacular art and its museums are not to be missed!
Among them, of course, are the Uffizi and the Accademia. Today, I want to share about another museum that I would love for you to put on your list the next time you visit Firenze!

We may have to “pause” our travel plans for now but we definitely don’t have to pause our travel dreams!
Besides that would be impossible for some of us!
