Inevitably, every time I’m boarding the plane to leave Italy, I’m already missing her and cannot wait to return!
Join me as I rhapsodize and get positively nostalgic again – this time about indulging the senses – those related to Italy’s mouth watering culinary delights that I miss and cannot wait to partake of soon!
Choosing from thousands and thousands of photos, thousands and thousands of moments, memories…all heartfelt reminders of the many, many reasons why I cannot wait until we are together again…

So, like the previous Postcard to Italy, this one is dedicated to the many memorable out-of-this world luscious tastings and cibo (food) that I have shared, savored and even helped prepare! Always traditional, local, fresh, seasonal and scrumptious!
Visits to local artisans, enjoying delizioso tastings and pairings of olive oil, cheese, and wine. Oh, but first, un cappuccino, si? And let’s not forget the tempting street food, eye-popping aperitivo and dolce! Perhaps some gelato or a granita? Mmmmm, favoloso!

And then there are the local mercati (markets) and, of course, the absolutely marvelous cooking classes! Whether it’s pesto in Genoa or pasta in Puglia, it’s always divine, delicious fun!

Is it just me…or do these photos make us feel better about not being in Italy right now! So many of us have so many wonderful memories and I know we are “chomping at the bit” to once again be able to return to new and favourite places in Italy!
Well that is part of it-is to remember all those beautiful memories and of course I’m watching to remind and entice those who may not have had such delicious experiences to consider planning their next trip with me and my Friends! 💁🏻♀️🍷🍕
