♥ Finding My Muse (Italian Style) with Luisa and Piero found me visiting, not only elegant private apartments, but stunning family–run estates. ♥
After a visit and time to recover from jet lag in Florence, we headed for the Tuscan countryside to visit Montestigliano, the idyllic Donati family-run farm estate near Siena...

A perfect stay with gracious & generous hosts, Luisa & her brother Damiano (L) and Francesco (R).

Hidden gems in & near a tiny village – hidden gardens, holiday celebrations, beautiful art, local artisans and so much more!
Luisa and Piero introduced me to Elisabetta & her mother/teacher, Maria Pia…a lace making demonstration…exquisite patterns & patience!
And a visit to Emanuele, who is carrying on the antique stamping tradition as his father & grandfather… beautiful designs made with love and dedication…
A picture is worth a thousand words was never more true for, surely a thousand words doesn’t begin to describe these extraordinary and special days… and this is just a sample–much more to share with you!!

Awesome post and who wouldn’t want to visit these amazing places? I loved my experiences with Piero and Luisa and can’t agree more that anyone would be guaranteed an unforgettable time at any of their properties!!!!

Lovely…I just want to sit outside on that patio with a glass of vino and of course you would be there! My outlook has been different this trip, with 4 weeks in Roma…very much looking forward to Piemonte and E. R. and some non-city time! Ciao, ce vediamo!
