This beautiful spring weather in Houston has inspired us to do spring cleaning in the back yard and garage, followed with a grilled dinner on the barbeque, then a dip in the swimming pool. Burrrr !!!! With the aid of our Chimania (a pottery chimney pot to burn wood in) and warm robes, we will be warm, toasty, and self satisfied with work well done!!!!! A successful staycation. Thanks for the suggestion. And with that taken care of, we’re ready to travel!!!!!!!!

A “staycation” well-deserved! Spring does give us the urge to purge, too! Then the reward…excellent!
Thanks for sharing…can’t wait to hear about your travels…

We are reminded in the Spring why we live in the beautiful metro area of Atlanta. There is no more beautiful place to be when the trees and flowers are introducing themselves after a long winter’s sleep. It’s like an awakening that seemingly happens overnight and our world explodes with color and scents and eye candy all around. Thank you, Victoria, for giving us a reminder that a “staycation” can be a wonderful respite andthat we don’t have to travel far to see what an amazing world in which we live!!!

Beautifully put! Spring is full of “eye candy” indeed. I guess it’s about blooming where you’re planted, too, and just appreciating where we live. Enjoy your springtime and thank you for sharing…
